Anything goes challenge

This is my card for this weeks challenge at Scrapbook Sisters which is anything goes. I am currently away from home but bought some craft stuff with me in order to do the challenge!! This is the first time I have bought craft stuff on holiday with me :).

Anyway the stamp is one I purchased recently at the stitch and craft exhibition at olympia. I coloured her in copics then cut out using nestabilities. I then stamped a swirly stamp (technical term ;)) down the edges of my cardpunched the edge of the background paper and then put it together with ribbon flowers and buttons.

Spring Flowers Challenge

I've lost count of the number for this challenge, however, this is this weeks card challenge at scrapbook sisters - spring flowers. I spent nearly all day today on my scrapbook page so I wanted to make a quiet easy card and came up with this. each of the flowers is made from two colours of pearlescent paper and two sizes of punches. Think this is the first card I have made that doesn't have a stamped image on it. The pink ribbon has been heated to make it ruffle (one of Gayle's techniques).

Scrapbook Challenge no. 1

Scrapbook sisters have started a monthly scrapbook chalenge. Their first one is "framed" and here is my page.

I believe this is the first page I have created on my own with my own papers rather than using ones from class. The 3 photos are taken in South Africa - we were in Kruger national park where generally you weren't allowed out of the car unless you were in specified areas - in the middle of a bridge or the occassional are overlooking rivers. We got out here and was looking at the view when we turned back to look at the front of the tree there were a number of monkeys in the tree. They all started getting out and coming towards us so we swiftly retreated to the car where the monkeys then posed for us.

Anyway back to the page the frames are made from nestabilities the punches are the new woodware edger with a brown ribbon. The circles were cut out on the cricut, the green one is embossed and then distressed.

Challenge 26 - easter animals

Here's my card for Scrapbook sisters challenge no. 26 - easter animals.

The ducks were one of my very fist stamps and as I stamped bunnies last week thought I would stamp the ducks today.

As normal the image is coloured in copics, i've cut it out using nestabilities and then the larger shield in green which has been embossed and distressed.

Spring Challenge

The challenge at Scrapbook sisters this week is Spring and this is the card I created for it :). The stamp is one i've had for some time. The stamp has four rabbits on it but I have only stamped two.

I've then coloured in copics and mounted on a yellowish pearlescent card. the papers are distressed with either green on yellow and then green and yellow flowers and gems.
