These are two new stamps I bought the other week at scrapbook sisters crop. I haven't done anything with the images yet but wanted to stamp and colour them.
The holy and pointesettia on the Eiffel tower stamp has been glossy accented.
The father xmas has been coloured with copics and stressed round the outside.

Card Patterns Challenge
I made this card for the card patterns sketch challenge. friday night I was at Gayle Bond's card class at scrapbook sisters where we made xmas cards so I thought I would do a xmas card for this challenge. The stamp is an old one and is a silhoutte of the three wise men I've then used my distress inks to create the scheme behind them. I then punched the edge with a scallop punch and folded it up over the bottom of the image with the red ribbon

Card Challenge
I have never made a card from a sketch before, but after doing some googling this afternoon I came across a blog with card sketches on: www.cardpatterns.blogspot.com, so I used their sketch to make this card. I will enter into their challenge as well as scrapbook sisters challenge which this week is "thank you".
The image is stamped onto white card stock then onto pink spotty paper which has then been cut out and siliconed over her top to make it raised.

crafting
This is the first time for a while that I have blogged on general craft rather than the cards/pages i've made for the scrapbooksisters challenges. Anyway today has been quiet a productive day and after doing the challenge card I continued to use my distress inks to make an image of a sun rise that we saw when we were in South Africa.
I then decided to get my altered art book out which I have recently been experimenting with at Julie's classes. Anyway did some more work to one of the images in the book of betty boop that I put in it a while ago.

Scrapbook sisters challenge
The challenge this week is summer fun. I made this card after going to the stamping/inks class at the weekend. the image is made from masking and using distress inks to create the view. Hopefully its obvious that the image is of a beach and the sea!
I have then used a stamp that has been masked before inking so that I only have the one sail boat - the stamp has loads of boats. the boat is then coloured using copics
